Description
Because of its shape, a marquise diamond will look larger face-up than a round diamond of the same weight. Many brides also appreciate the fact that a marquise will make their fingers appear longer and more slender. The pear-shaped diamond is a hybrid of the round and marquise shapes, offering both brilliance and a large surface area for increased size to weight ratio. Symmetry of Very Good or better is desirable, to ensure that the point (worn towards the base of the finger) lines up with the apex of the rounded end. This diamond has been certified by DIA.
