A cushion cut diamond is a popular fancy shape diamond characterized by a square or rectangular outline with rounded corners and curved sides, giving it a soft, pillow-like appearance. • Shape & Outline: Can range from a classic square (length-to-width ratio of 1.00 to 1.05) to an elongated, rectangular silhouette (ratio of 1.15 or greater). • Facets: Typically features around 57 to 58 facets designed to maximize fire (colourful flashes of light) rather than clinical round-cut brilliance. • Durability: Rounded corners make it less prone to chipping than sharp-cornered shapes. • This natural diamond has been certified.
